    Hey Max,

Really like your thoughtful rationale for your choice of city, Ersilla and the meaning of the strings. The big challenge with this city is conveying scale when you come to do the exterior establishing shot - how to convey all those strings at distance, across a multitude of buildings? As important as all of those strings is your visual concept for the city underneath them - try and avoid generating a generic city 'made special' by the addition of all those strings; you'll need to think about all those elements too.

In terms of all those strings - the strings can actually give you structure too; some vis ref for inspiration and by way of an example:

So - the challenge is to give as much creative thought to the city and its components under the string, as to the construction and appearance of the strings themselves.
